Magento Development for Large, Complex Ecommerce Stores
When your catalogue, B2B pricing or multi-store needs outgrow simple platforms, Magento (Adobe Commerce) delivers. Growth Dash builds, upgrades, optimises and migrates Magento stores for performance and scale.
When Magento is the right platform
Magento, now offered as Adobe Commerce and as the open-source Magento Open Source, is built for complexity. It handles very large catalogues with thousands of products and variants, multiple stores and storefronts under one admin, B2B features such as company accounts, quotes, negotiated pricing and requisitions, complex tax and shipping rules, extensive customisation and deep integration with ERPs and other enterprise systems. If your business needs these capabilities, Magento can do things that simpler platforms cannot, at the cost of more technical complexity and a higher total cost of ownership. For smaller stores, Shopify or WooCommerce are often a better fit, and we say so.
Our Magento services
New Magento builds
We design the architecture, catalogue model, customer groups, pricing rules and integrations before development begins, then build with modern Magento 2 practices: modular code, dependency injection and proper theming. We choose between Luma-based themes, Hyvä and headless front ends depending on performance and design goals.
Custom module and extension development
We build custom modules for pricing logic, checkout flows, quoting, customer portals, loyalty and integrations, and we review and configure third-party extensions so they work together without conflict.
Performance optimisation
Magento can be fast, but only when tuned. We profile slow pages and queries, configure full-page and Redis caching, Varnish, search with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, image delivery and frontend performance, and improve Core Web Vitals, which matter for rankings and conversion.
Upgrades and security patches
Magento versions reach end of life and security patches are released regularly. We upgrade stores safely, test extensions and customisations, and keep your platform patched. If your store is on Magento 1, which is no longer supported, we recommend migrating as soon as possible.
Migration to and from Magento
We migrate stores from Magento 1, WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce and custom platforms, including products, customers, orders and URLs. We can also move Magento stores to simpler platforms when that makes sense. See website migration.
Integrations
ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, WMS, marketplaces, payment gateways, shipping carriers, tax engines and marketing tools, using APIs and middleware. See API development and integration.
Support and maintenance
Monitoring, backups, patching, bug fixing and enhancements through a maintenance plan. See website maintenance and support.
B2B and multi-store capabilities
Magento’s B2B features allow company accounts with multiple buyers, approval workflows, shared catalogues, tier pricing, credit limits and quick reorder. Multi-store setups let you run several brands, countries or currencies from one installation. We design these structures carefully so they stay manageable as you grow.
SEO and marketing for Magento stores
Large catalogues need disciplined SEO: category architecture, faceted navigation controls, canonical tags, structured data, internal linking and crawl management. Our ecommerce SEO and technical SEO teams work alongside developers so the platform supports search growth.

Is Magento right for you?
We start every Magento conversation by checking whether you need it. If a simpler platform would serve you well and cost less to run, we will recommend it. If Magento is the right tool, we will build it properly.
